Not with conservative dosing and proper technique. The "frozen" look comes from over-injecting — too many units applied without regard for natural facial movement. Our physician uses precise anatomical placement and conservative unit counts, especially for first-time patients. The goal is always a refreshed, rested version of you — not a different face.
Most patients describe a brief pinch with each injection — similar to a small bug bite. The needles used are extremely fine, and the entire injection process takes 15–20 minutes. Topical numbing is available on request. The majority of first-time patients are surprised by how comfortable it is.
Most patients begin to notice softening within 3–5 days of treatment, with full results visible at the 2-week mark. Results typically last 3–4 months. With regular treatments, many patients find the results last longer over time as the muscles learn to relax.
The $12/unit rate applies to your entire first Botox treatment at Rejuve — all areas, however many units your physician recommends. The minimum is 20 units (starting at $240).
